Hello, dolls!! 🙂 Let me tell you upfront that this is going to be lengthy (yup, 20++ photos ahead!). So I am squeezing this in my busy weekend.I meant to post this a few days ago but responsibilities just came knocking on my door, awesome opportunities for that matter. I think I have been overworking myself for the past 3 days that all I want to do now is lay in bed and sleep….BUUUUT I must fight this feeling cause I have another fun night ahead of me!! 🙂 I can’t believe that 2 days from now I will be here for a month already! Meaning, it has been a month since I last hugged my family!!! AAAAAH, but no drama cause I know I can make things happen and in less than a year I will see them again! I promise.
So life has been AMAAAAHZING here, and I think this blog deserves an awesome “update”!Â
I’ve been taking lots of photos with my new “baby”, resulting to me uploading 20+ photos for this entry (it’s so hard to choose!!!)
We take our Monday dinners seriously. If we are not out in an awesome restaurant, we are in the kitchen cooking together.
One Monday….we decided to cook pork chops.
But uhhh..I don’t normally eat pork, but I like to have it once in a while.Â
I “stopped” eating pork a few years ago…when I decided I do not want to look like a pig anymore.
But see, I love too much AND I love being fit! BUTTTT I really really love food more. So yeah, I still eat what I want and try whatever it is in front of me… IN MODERATION.
Pork Chop searing perfectly.
Love cooking with this man
Spinach and Tomato Salad
Greens…to not make me feel guilty all night.
Beautifully cooked pork chops rubbed with mexican spices.
Tender. Juicy. Medium Well.

I am really happy that I was able to go to church during my first Sunday here. My lifestyle here is different as compared to the Philippines, and the career that I chose is not really forgiving with Sundays. I feel this certain joy whenever I get to start my Sunday at church.
Asian stores in America is like Disneyland to Filipinos.
But yeah, this particular one serves FILIPINO BUFFET every weekend. So yeah, it was really rewarding!
Just some of the few dishes that made me turn into a pig again!
Went to IKEA after our sumptuous lunch and treated ourselves with more food, this time my favorite of all time, yogurt!
…and the search for the perfect corner shelf for the bathroom is over!!!!
Thursday: Ladies dinner! 🙂
Salmon x Asparagus x Wine
Uhhhh “but you don’t eat salmon”!
Well this year, I’ve decided that I will try EVERYTHING,and when I say EVERYTHING it means EVERYTHING! This year is all about me trying everything that I don’t like and haven’t tried yet. So far I’ve been doing good… I fell in love with salmon that I even got it for my dinner 2 nights ago!
03.08 – Second Saturday
Irish Stroll in Federal Hill
St. Patrick’s reminded me that this is my THIRD March here in the US. And every year I am here for St. Patty’s but never really got the feel for it! This year, Maria invited me to an Irish Stroll. How can I say no? This year is all about me trying new things!
Going to an Irish Stroll is not just the new thing that I got to do that night….
I DRANK AND FINISHED A BOTTLE OF BEER…..AND DRANK FROM THE BOTTLE ITSELF!!!
If you know me, you would know that I am VERYÂ maarte! And you would also know that I don’t drink beer, though I can say that it didn’t taste like beer at all (cause it was apple ale) BUUUUT drinking from the bottle is like “IDK-ish” for me! I don’t know if I will be doing it again but yeah it was a fun experience! haha
Another last minute St. Patty’s outfit!
So happy that we were blessed with a beautiful weather for an Irish Stroll that day! 🙂
Lovely and I finished our stroll in Pub Dog
Spinach and Mushroom Pizza with Bacon x Pub Dog Salad x Cocktails
AHMAAAAHZZING! Just made our night even better!
I also love the rustic vibe!
What a beautiful morning to wake up to 🙂 Maria made french toast!! YUMMMS!
