Hello, dolls! 🙂 How was your Mother’s Day weekend? Mine was ahh-mah-zing! I was able to talk to my Mom which was very important. I spent the weekend with my family here, away from reality. I would love to talk about our awesome weekend in New Jersey, but this post is going to be all about the foods that we made in the apartment. I noticed that it’s been a while since I posted something that I did in our kitchen — here on my blog, Instagram and Facebook. So here I am, sharing. 😉
Great food is meant to be shared, and  I wish I can send you all a bite of the things that I make but I guess posting entries will suffice for now. So here are a couple of things that we did 2 months ago, yes 2 months ago! I have TONS of pictures to sort and post and I wish I can just keep the rhythm on this blog.
One morning, I woke up and said ” I want apple bars”. Lucky for me, I have a fiance who is willing to wake up early and go to the grocery to buy my ingredients.
I love using Granny Smith on desserts! And I LOVE Granny Smith with sugar and cinnamon…I mean, don’t we all do?
What’s interesting about this recipe is that it has cornflakes at the bottom! Another favorite of mine.
I love the smell of apple and cinnamon…sooo delicious!
Craving satisfied!

A and I were able to catch an episode of Not My Mama’s Meals on Food Network one morning before work. In Not My Mama’s Meals, Booby Deen tries to recreate his mother Paula Deen’s recipes in a healthier way. One of the things that they did was green bean casserole.
I love beans and I always get this satisfying feeling when I eat greens.
I love how light and healthy this dish is! And have I mentioned EASY?
I did not put crispy fried shallots cause I wanted it to be really healthy as much as possible. So no fried stuff!
It could’ve went in the oven longer but I did not want Lovely to wait a minute longer.

A loves surprising me.One of his surprises for me when I got back was a pink ice cream/frozen yogurt maker. A couldn’t let March end without taking it for a spin so I made….
Vanilla-Honey Frozen Yogurt
Got too giddy as soon as  I saw it churning.
Success! 🙂 Yaaaaay!!!!
10 days worth of frozen yogurt!
So this was how I enjoyed my first batch…
I love cornflakes… I add it to a lot of stuff, sometimes I eat it as is.
A scoop of froyo topped with cornflakes and chocolate chips…my kind of simple snack!
This reminds me that I am almost out of cornflakes!!

A and I likes to clean the fridge by cooking lunch together.
One afternoon, I surprised A with 6 cans of Thai Curry paste.
Yellow, Red and Green…he now has them!
Green is my favorite… its spicy and full of flavor! I love it.
It was also the first time that A used his All-Clad Wok!
Almost 2 years ago, A and I went to Noi’s house. A Thai Chef living here in Baltimore. She made Thai Chicken Curry for us, and OMG it brought me straight to Bangkok!
She taught us how to do it and now we can enjoy Thai curry whenever we want! 😉

Our favorite way to use the extra ingredients in our fridge.
Asparagus love
Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of our stir fry….cause it was so good we finished it in less than 10 minutes!

My usual breakfast
Wheat Toast with Strawberry Jam
Spinach Omelette
Can’t live without my greens!
