12.25.14: Merry Chirstmas
Hello, dolls! Hello, Tuesday. 3 days has passed since we welcomed February and I can already see a million posts on Facebook and Instagram about Valentine’s day (most of them are the usual highschool-ish posts about being single on Vday #ugh). So anyway, Valentine’s is something I do not really forward to every year. After being disappointed when I was still in high school…cause you know?HS Valentine’s is all about flowers and chocolates — and I am not big on receiving flowers if it’s not from my Dad so yeaaap — and oh no good Vday dates until A came in my life so yeah…Valentine’s was not in my zone for a long time. As far as I’m concerned, Valtnine’s is for my Dad and I.
So I am ALMOST done with my Holiday diary. I am pretty happy with my blogging last month because I was able to accomplish 90% of the posts that I wanted to share. This month I can finally write about our Bangkok trip which I am really excited about! 🙂

Before I officially wrap up my Christmas posts, let me share with you our lovely Christmas dinner! 🙂
It was a day filled with delicious food! We started our “happy hour”, an afternoon of delicious appetizers, with this beautiful Italian cold cut platter.
I really love how the Mom-In-Law plated the salami, olives, herb marinated mozzarella balls, and roasted red peppers.
We can’t not have anything Greek on Christmas day. Delicious shrimp saganaki that the Dad-In-Law made.
I could eat this everyday.
Uncle Joe brought a loaf of sausage bread from New York. So goood!
A cooked the porgi that we were supposed to eat the night before. A can cook whole fish really well because it always comes out perfect!
We watched Moonstruck before dinner. The Mom in Law served us with a platter of homemade cookies!

And of course, the Mom-In-Laws beautiful Christmas spode collection!

Everyone loved A’s veal chop. He put so much love into it! It came out tender,juicy,and flavorful! aaah <3
I LOVE grapes! so imagine my smile when the Dad-in-Law said he is going to grill grapes! OMG it was simply phenomenal!

So much love for this guy who made sure I’ll have a big smile on my face during the holidays.
Being away from my family is not easy, especially during the Holidays. I remember trying to fight my tears in 2012, my first time to spend Christmas away from them. I am so grateful that God blessed me with a fiance who has a loving family. Achieving that huge smile on my face is not too hard anymore.
I save my red for birthdays, Valentine’s, and Christmas.
