Hello, dolls! Happy Friday! 🙂 So I today I am going to write about something that is not related to the wedding.. I need a little piece of something that can help me keep my sanity before the wedding. haha So travelling has been on my mind since March. A and I have been talking about going somewhere after the wedding (we are not going to have our honeymoon until next year) but up until now we couldn’t decided where to go. This is the first time that I am putting travelling aside, which feels very weird. Our Bangkok adventure is not over yet. I still have 2 more days to share and aaah it feels good to look back to all the things that we did…and all the food that we ate 😉
Here’s the second part of our Amphawa advenutre.
Can you see A?
Amphawa is a very great place to go on a food trip! They have EVERYTHING!
fried quail eggs,anyone?
The steamed crabs and prawns were very cheap! It was more or less 50 baht per order. What a steal!
the piggies enjoyed this so much! One order is 30 baht.
fried mini shrimp
mussels and cockles
I don’t know what this is but I was tempted to get one
young coconut for only 10 baht!! Aaaah my fave <3
seafood omelette with fresh squid and oysters
I don’t know what these are….
…but they looked pretty gross for us to try haha
no thanks! haha
I would rather not know what this is.
make sure to get butter toasts from this lady when in Amphawa. She makes it the best! 🙂
posting this to show you the back detail of my top haha
Til we meet again, Amphawa!
gas stop photo ops haha
Thai Tea/Coffee break
We went back to the city after our amphawa adventure. We had 2 more shopping malls on our list for that day so we tried to take a nap on our way back. Good thing we did because we did not get back to our hotel until midnight! I guess I can say that we had a very loooong say. Started our day at 7AM!
Next stop was Asiatique.
It reminded all of us of Tiendesitas here in the Philippines.
oh… you know
But really, I think we just went to see the Mekhong Ferris Wheel 🙂 haha
We do not have a lot of family pictures…we are always to shy to ask people to take pictures of us! haha #WhatAFamily so how lucky are we when a Filipino heard us talking to each other and asked us if we want a family picture. 🙂
Next stop: MBK (Mahbroonkrong)
We had dinner late but it was okay because MBK’s fast food is pretty awesome.
They have stalls for every possible dish that you would want. A had an order of this delicious duck.
A’s duck noodle soup
Some of the dishes that we tried.
Singapore Noodles ; Fried Chicken (one of our favorites in Bangkok) ; sweet and sour pork ; yang chow fried rice
My favorite local beauty shop!!! <3
My second outfit for the day is something light and causal. We walk a lot when we travel so I chose something fashionably comfortable to wear.
When I think of Thailand, I think of colors and patterns, so I wore this pair of shorts that my siblings got me for my birthday 🙂
And paired it with a nude off shoulder top from my sister.
It is one of my favorite travel outfits to day
It’s very chic and fresh looking! 🙂
