10.27.14: Oh,fall
Hello, dolls!! ๐ Aaaah I know know..it’s been waaay too long. The July was super hectic…and awesome! We spent the past weekend in New York and New Jersey — how I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Now I am looking forward to August..our Greek weddingย ๐ Our family in New York and my 2 girlfriends down south are coming here to be with us that weekend yaaaay!
I am really really hoping that I finish all of my 2014 entries before A’s birthday. It will commence all the great things that will happen before the year ends. I never really got to enjoy ( meaning.. dress up ) fall during my first year here in the US because I was too busy. Last year A and I had a lot of Mondays together so I was really able o appreciae fall.

Spiced Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
Starting off a good season with a nicely home baked cake
I love pumpkin! Having it as a dessert is a treat, especially when it’s a moist delicious homemade cake that A and I baked with love ๐
Sup?
One of our favorite restaurants in Baltimore is Tooloulou. We can’t let a year go by without going here.
Our first time to visit their location in Belvedere Square (another place that we both love). I remember A and I having a Thursday off 3 years ago. He told me he wants us to have dinner at one of his favorite local restaurants. We ordered a whole pizza, a sandwich, and a salad — everything was so good we finished all of it!
It was a beautiful day out. So we decided to dine outside at Belvedere Square and enjoy the beauty of fall ๐
House brewed Southern Tea
Myย Po Boy Salad with Fried Gator
Hands down to this perfect salad <3
My gator (yes alligator meat!) was perfectly fried. Juicy, crispy, and delish!
The onion relish, roasted red pepper, pickles, and spinach were all perfect together. I could eat this salad everyday!
Braised Cabbage
You will love braised cabbage when you try this. It has a smoky flavor that balances with the sweetness of the cabbage. YUM!
Blackened Catfish Po Boy
A cajun classic.
“I take my table shots seriously” — me to A haha

Ramen 101
A lot of people ask A and I about cooking at home. We often get asked “so who cooks at home? you or him?”. Most of the time I could answer “the both of us” whole heatedly, but sometimes I feel like saying “him”. When I get too caught up with housework or when A wants to be an amazing husband, he cooks dinner for us — which is awesome! On the other hand, we spend our weeknights looking forward to our Sunday and Monday together and plan what we can cook together.
We love trying out new recipes at home! We find ourselves improvising sometimes and we love it because we get to learn. #ChefLife
A and I love ramen ,although I gotta hand it to A because he is the biggest ramen lover I know. So one night, we decided to make our own ramen noodles…and it turned out great! aaah <3
We used David Chang’s recipe from the Momofuku book and did one of our favorite Asian sauces — ginger scallion. YUMM!
Of course we can’t not have protein with our ramen. So I told A I’ll make teriyaki chicken to go with it ๐

One of my favorite fall outfits to date ๐
I am a “fall fashion newbie” so the first thing that came to mind when I was looking for an outfit is to go back to basics — white, brown, and a touch of black to stand out.
I might have worn this scarf a little too much over the past 3 years…but it’s one of my favorite scarves!!! ๐ Thanks to my sister! haha
