12.6.14: Pretty Little Things
Hello, dolls!! Hello, December!! 🙂 So this time last year I was having the best time at my bridal shower. This year, we are looking forward to moving to our house!! After months and months of finding for the perfect one and dealing with the stages of getting the keys in our hands..we are finally just a step away.
December 6 last year was amazing. I remember feeling excited and nervous. Nervous because I will be opening presents in front of 25+ ladies! Meaning, I will be the center of attention which I am not used to haha.
“being yourself is the prettiest thing you can be”
Before I talk about the “bride to be” let me share with you some of the things that made my bridal shower extra special.
Just like this pretty sash that the interns gave me! 🙂
Mom (my MIL) took me to the nail salon for a much needed mani pedi. It felt good to feel like a woman again! LOL
Anyway, going back to my bridal shower…
Showers of love
I am one happy bride to be <3
A and I are very grateful to everyone who gave us presents! We got everything that we need for our home 🙂
Grizelle’s “wife bag”
beauty loot, a mug because I love tea, cute spatulas, and something blue *wink*
Mama did not forget to give me something 😉 She made me pick out the presents so of course I got something that would give A an idea for a future “dinner date” 😉
All-Clad stock pot from Mom!!!
Uncle Joe gave us one of the best presents..ever!! Keurig, baby!!
Fran knows a woman can’t say I do without something from Victoria’s Secret 😉
Because we love having people over!! 🙂
The Buscemi’s gave us a picnic set!! I remember seeing this and thinking to myself “maybe if we get a picnic basket A will finally take me to a picnic date”…and it worked! 😉
Ms. Carol gave me my very own Royal Albert tea set <3 We have 2 designs from A’s grandmother…and now we have another set to love! 🙂
Mr. Mike gave me a very precious gift that I will forever cherish <3
Maria’s bag filled with baking stuff is too perfect!!!
One of my favorite baking books! 🙂
Kitchen Aid from my Mom and prbably the coolest Chef toys to date from Uncle Joe!!
Sansaire sous vide machine and a vacuum sealer..YES!
Ms Angel gave us one of the best things to have in the kitchen, an organized spic rack!
So while the ladies enjoyed a nice afternoon at the restaurant, Mom planned a nice party for the men at the apartment.
Of course..since they’re men no one took photos (and A also forgot to serve the cupcakes that Mom baked for them!).
So I only have the plates and napkins that they used! haha
Letters from Cams,Leigh, and Aaron also came right in time! It was really heartwarming to receive something from Australia especially because it’s from them 🙂
Aside from the beautiful bridal shower and the wonderful presents, Mom also got me the perfect set of thank you cards!
Merci Beaucoup!

I LOVE WHITE and since I decided to not wear white on our wedding day, I took the opportunity to pick a beautiful white dress for my first bridal shower 🙂
3 colors that I love together — white, gold, and marsala (the color of the year)
Off shoulder white dress from Tobi.
