Hello, dolls!!! Hello, Monday <3 Is there anyone else out there who feels proud whenever they survive another Monday? Cause I do! I woke up today feeling like the world hates me…because it’s Monday and the first 15 minutes of my Monday are always the worst! My body feels heavy whenever I try to get out of bed, and my heart feels heavier because I know my boy is going to wake up without me for the next 5 days.
So this is my current reality, I hate Mondays — I especially hate waking up at 4AM! Lately, I’ve been focused on planning my weekends at work since it has been stressful lately. My head is not 100% in the game and I feel guilty at some point — am I in a work rut? I know for a fact that there is nothing better than this, at least in the next 6 months! I really have to shake this feeling off and not let SMonday get the best of me 😛
I LOVE making my siblings happy. When my sister was here in Baltimore for her internship, I knew that it was the perfect opportunity for me to step up my “big sis” game. For her 22nd birthday, we decided to go to the aquarium to go on a different kind of adventure.
I took the night off from work on her birthday. It was perfect because it was a Friday and the National Aquarium does 50% off tickets when you go after 5PM.
Gorgeous!! I felt like we really left the city and went to a hidden place in Maryland.
Beautiful view of the Inner Harbor.
Twinning in our MK coats <3
Honestly, this kind of made me scared. It felt weird to be so close to shark teeth!!!
Exploring our connection to water at the Blue Wonders exhibition.
This left me speechless!!! I could just imagine how big this whale was.
It was definitely a different experience for my sister and I. We usually go shopping when we go out so going to the aquarium is something that we will cherish forever as sisters. We can’t stop telling our parents about it that night!! All I can think about is how I look forward to going there with the entire family…now with baby A too 😉 He is going to love it more than me for sure!
We got to touch some jellyfish too! What a moment.
Just in time for the last dolphin show. Make sure to catch it when you visit because it makes the entire trip worth it.
We got to the dolphin pavilion at least 15 minutes before the show, perfect amount of time to snag the best seats! 😉
I am not sure why, but the entire time I was watching the dolphins “perform” I kept on saying “I wish they are happy”. I might have felt that way because I’ve seen the documentary “The Cove” a couple of times and it made me sad, concerned, and most especially mad!
Going to National Aquarium is definitely a must when in Baltimore! 🙂
My sister had no idea where we were going for dinner. I wanted it to be a surprise!
So where do you take someone who doesn’t like eat veggies or anything healthy? Fogo De Chao!
I LOVED the market bar more than the churrasco. I heard pregnant women should not eat raw or smoked fish so I tried my best to avoid the smoked salmon platter — it looked amazing and I can’t wait to go back and devour every bit of it next time! ;P
Lucky birthday celebrant got her favorite dessert!
I love being your Ate, Boobie! <3
