Hello, dolls! Hello, beautiful fall! <3 October is the month when I start feeling the craziness (and excitement) of the Holidays. As soon as A’s birthday rolls in, I get into this celebratory mood which turns out to be a lot of weekend activities and trips until we are ready to kiss the year goodbye. We’ve been very busy enjoying this beautiful season and I can’t wait to share all our adventures here…someday 😛
Anyway, one of the things I look forward to every weekend is to dress up my kids. I love planning our outfits and I am extra happy when our OOTDs compliment each other. Fall is the perfect time to explore the style you want to go for when dressing up your kids as there are so many inspirations everywhere — especially on social media!
When I was pregnant with Little A, I had no idea about baby clothing. I was too busy thinking about work that I did not feel prepared at all a week from due date. I remember ordering a bunch of clothes from Carter’s and thinking “wow my baby is going to look so cute”…WRONG! Carter’s is cute and comfy but it lacks the style that I want.
I spent a lot of time shopping during Little A’s first month. There were things I noticed we did not have as soon as we got home from the hospital. Those shopping trips introduced me to brands I now love and pretty much opened this whole new world of kids fashion to me.
Baby to toddler years is the best way to dress up your little ones, it all goes downhill when they start complaining about how tight their skinny jeans are and their preference of which sneakers to wear which most likely is going to be some obnoxious color that doesn’t match 😛
On Little A: Zara knit cardigan, Gap corduroy button down, Zara skinny jeans. Get the look below!
I am obviously obsessed with corduroy. Something about the texture makes me think of the Holidays. I also think it’s perfect for times when you want your LO’s outfit to look a little bit more on the formal side.
Get the look below! 🙂
Twinning moments with Little A are my favorite <3
Fall is a transitioning season so there are days when we can wear layers of clothes and some weekends when we can dress down and be comfy.
Was it even fall if you don’t dress your little one in plaid? 😛 I love to accessorize Little A in vests! That added layer is sure to make him feel warm without feeling too heavy.
Zara is my favorite clothing store for our entire family! I know I can always find an outfit or two when I walk in the store. The have the cutest outfits for babies and I just love all their style!
Most of Little A’s pants are from Zara! We haven’t had a problem with them so far and they are just perfect for my long-legged boy 🙂
Fall is the perfect time to visit farms. Taking Little A to the farm makes me think of all the farm related storybooks we’ve read.
Here’s my take on my little farmer boy 🙂
Seriously how Little A feels when it’s time for Mommy to dress him up. Lol!!
Enjoy it while you can, Momma! they grow up so fast!!!
