Hello, dolls! Hello, Christmas season! 2020 may have changed a lot of things for us but I am glad to see the Christmas spirit stronger more than anything else. Seeing the rising number of positive cases go up again is alarming. As much as I would love to spend time with some of our close friends here in Baltimore, I know the smartest thing to do right now is to lay low and wait until things get a little better in the “outside world” again. I am in full precautionary mode again because in the past 8 months, some people close to my heart got the virus and had their lives altered so drastically. I felt so helpless knowing I cannot do much aside from letting them know how much I care about them through text message.
The holidays are around the corner and I know one of the ways we can feel normal is through Christmas presents. Now that we are staying home more than ever, here are some gift ideas that will surely help calm our minds and remind us that it’s okay to relax and enjoy the little things.
You can never go wrong with Lenox! Our cousins gave us the best “First Christmas in Our New Home” holiday basket! Definitely one of my favorite Christmas presents ever.

Love supporting friends, family, or just anyone? Girl Scout cookies are the perfect treat and holiday gift! Plus brownie points because your are helping a little girl reach her goal. I don’t know about you but my year won’t be complete without a box of tagalongs to devour during the holidays 😛
There is nothing sweeter than home baked goodies! As a Chef, I honestly do not have a lot of time to cook at home. Lucky for me, A loves being in the kitchen. Getting presents like this totally helped me on nights that I forgot to get or bake dessert — but really the best part about this was having a plate of treats to share with A!
I love supporting local brands and one of my favorites is Mouth Party ! We hand carried them to the Philippines to giveaway to our wedding guests and it was such a hit!
I love getting ornaments because I can use them every year. My friend Frances gave me this beautiful ornament years ago and I remember here whenever I see it hanging on my tree.
Royal Albert is perfect for tea lovers. Their beautiful tea sets can be passed down to generations. the exquisite designs and delicateness is perfect for anyone you want to feel special.
Now, let’s talk about the best present you can give to ANYONE this year — HEALTH!
There’s nothing more that we want than to know everyone that we care about is healthy. With everything going on, no amount of wrapped presents can compare to one’s health.
I turned 30 two weeks ago, and trust me when I say, I’ve never felt better. For the past year, I focused on being mentally and emotionally healthy. Feeling better made me inspired to introduce new things for myself too — an upgraded skincare routine, quiet time, and investment an on my health.
I knew that I need more than my daily vitamin C intake, I just did not know where to begin. Persona made it so easy to get the right stuff for me without going to the store! Fact: Vitamin C was sold out for months earlier this year. It became painfully annoying to feel unprotected.
The assessment was quick and the suggestions are very detailed and catered to what you need. I also love that there is an option to speak to a professional which made me feel like I am at my physician’s office getting a consult personally.
